On September 22nd and 23rd, WJBR staff and their trusted partners came together for another year of fundraising for Nemours Children's Hospital. The Help Our Kids Radiothon raised a total of $332,648 this year!
Program Director and On-air DJ Eric Johnson said to the group: "Another great team effort by the staff of Mix 99.5 WJBR in the "12th Annual Nemours Children’s Hospital Help Our Kids Radiothon" produced from the beautiful grounds of the hospital in Wilmington.
This was ‘JBR’s second year producing the radiothon.
The 2 day 6am to 6pm radiothon produced funding of $332,648 for the hospital’s Child Life Programs!
It takes a community of listeners and sponsors working together with Nemours staff, Nemours patients and families and WJBR staff to make this radiothon successful.
