After many months of renovations, Le Cavalier at The Green Room announced an opening date! The new French Brasserie in HOTEL DUPONT will open its doors on September 1st! For now, Le Cavalier will be open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5pm-10pm. Eventually, service will be available 7 days a week, 365 days a year serving breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. There will be outdoor seating and limited indoor seating in accordance with the CDC, state and local guidelines. Diners can also enjoy online ordering or pick up through lecavalierde.com.
According to the press release, La Cavalier at the Green Room is a progressive, French Brasserie in the iconic HOTEL DUPONT. “Le Cavalier” honors the deep equestrian tradition in the Brandywine River Valley. The name pays homage to the early 20th century when the hotel opened. Chef/Partner Tyler Aiken takes flavors of North Africa and Provence and creates thoughtfully sourced French classics and inventive riffs on standbys. The neo-brasserie offers craft cocktails, natural wines and local coffee and tea service.
