The Brandywine Valley SPCA works hard every single day to give every single furbaby the life they deserve. Clear the Shelters month in underway and we need your help in re-homing all the adorable animals and new arrivals at BVSPCA.
It is so important to hustle hard during Clear the Shelters to help make room for the influx in strays and other animals that come in. Natural disasters have played a huge role in the displacement of animals and the BVSPCA has had their pulse on other communities in need.
Pets Who Need Homes
They have flown pets in from other states to help care for them while first responders work with local agencies to help locate their owners. Sometimes, the owners are not found and so the pets are prepped for adoption and rehabbed while they wait.
When this happens it is usually unexpected and that’s why it’s so important to constantly work on getting these current pets adopted so when they need the space, it’s available.
The BVSPCA also just recently held a free vaccine clinic to help local families take care of their pets when they may not be able to afford pet medical care.
They have historically also offered lower cost neuter and spays in conjunction with other hospital partners to help limit the amount of strays found in our community.
