The United States itself has very odd laws, especially throughout history. It's always interesting to see what other laws international destinations have to abide by.
Chances are you've never heard of any of these. Whether they truly abide by these laws, or whether they are truly enforced, we're not to conclude. But according to the law codes, these happen to be true.
Singapore

In Singapore, it is illegal to chew gum. The reason is because they're afraid of it being spat on the ground and people stepping in it.
Germany

In Germany, it is illegal to stop unnecessarily on the Autobahn. This means, even if you run out of gas and have to stop on the Autobahn, you're breaking the law.
Fiji

In Fiji, you cannot tan topless, and furthermore, you have to cover your shoulders.
