The Boy Scouts of America: Chester County Council, is hosting an exciting new charity event! Mark your calendar for the First Annual Brandywine Backyard BBQ Festival at the New Garden Township Park in Landenberg, just over the border from Hockessin!
This festival defrays the cost of scouting for financially disadvantaged scouting families in Southern Chester County and Cecil County Maryland, makes local camp improvements, and creates awareness of scouting’s benefits. The BBQ Festival will include live music, craft and food vendors, children’s activities, skill demonstrations and archery by local Scouts, and a fun barbecue competition with big cash prizes sanctioned and judged by the Kansas City Barbecue Society! They are looking for BBQ competitors, sponsors, vendors and attendees!
