Kevin Cottman, Program Manager of the Delaware Office of Drinking Water, part of the Delaware Department of Health and Social Service, Division of Public Health discussed our drinking water, its source and quality. He explained the Public Water System which includes service connections and some wells and the regulations that govern them. . We discussed the river that provides drinking water to Wilmington and how pollutants, including agricultural waste and fertilizers can affect its quality.
