Dr. Robert A Winn, Director and Lipman Chair in Oncology at the Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center at Virginia Commonwealth University and Chair of the report’s steering committee for the American Association of Cancer Research, discussed the findings of the 20242 report. He spoke of disparities in cancer diagnosis, treatment and outcome based on a person’s race and ethnicity, location and other social determinants including income and education.
