Tomara Williams, Family Navigator, and Dafne Carnright, Director of Family Services, discussed their support offered through Autism Delaware. From first diagnosis, through working with care givers, therapists, schools and beyond, they offer peer-based support and navigation services. They work with families to create plans and goals for the family, helping them with each step. They also make vital connections with and between families to offer lived-experience support and they help families become advocate for their children and themselves for services and educational opportunities.
