Alzheimer’s Foundation of America President and CEO Charles Fuschillo discussed the growing healthcare crisis, Alzheimers. We discussed the diagnosis of the disease and how it differs from aging, and important signs of the condition, confusion time and places, short term memory issues, even changes in mood. He spoke of how they support caregivers and law enforcement, as well as patients and how they work toward research and treatment, as well as aspects of living with the disease, including relationships, housing, elder law and asset protection. Mr Fuschillo recommends that everyone visit their website and take the free Memory Screening, it offers a chance to create a baseline for future reference and help you decide if you need medical intervention. In support of education and advocacy the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America has been hosting state-wide conferences through the year.
