Larence Kirby, Executive Director, discussed the state’s commission for the 78,000 plus Delaware veterans, how the agency help vets receive the benefits they are entitled to get, others services including appealing a less than honorable discharge, emergency loans, job training and education, counseling for incarcerated vets, mental health programming and the state’s success at ending veteran homelessness, only the third to accomplish it. He also asked for younger vet and female vets to consider volunteering to join the Commission.
