The Executive Director of the Council for Relationships, Deb D’Arcangelo, discussed the 85 year old non-profit, which provides low-cost therapy and coping and relationship skills to individuals and families on employment, marriage, divorce and custody, services to veterans and their families on reintegrating into family roles and civilian employment, as well as work with adolescents struggling with gender identity. She also discussed their accredited certification and degree programs with the medical school at Thomas Jefferson University and their research, including their pioneering studies on trauma through generations working with Holocaust survivors and their offspring. We also discussed the upcoming Dr. Emily Hartshorne Mudd Awards. this year being presented to Dr. Bavna Shyamalan and the M. Night Shyamalan Foundation for their work with children.
