16 Places For Crab In Delaware On #NationalCrabmeatDay
National Crabmeat Day is probably not a holiday you recognize every year, or that you’ve ever even heard of. There really is a day for everything, but hey, no complaints here.
Here in Delaware we have so many options for great crab, we should take a moment to recognize some of the amazing restaurants we have on this special day.
Typically, crab season would run from about October thru January, when the shells are their hardest, however you can still get great crabs year round. Some of the locations on this list are not open all year, but you can get to planning before the warmer months roll around. The locations that are closed are planning their re-openings in March or April of this year. It seems silly that National Crabmeat Day would fall on a day that might be cold or out of season, but we didn’t make the rules.
Now I’m hungry and I want crab! At least we have a list of places to try when the season rolls around. Until then, I’ll dream of melted butter and garlic. Haha.
