The waterfront venue in Camden has officially dropped the name BB&T Pavilion and will now go by Waterfront Music Pavilion.

In its 27-year history, it has undergone four name changes. In August 2015, the Susquehanna Bank Center was bought by the North Carolina-based BB&T Corporation for $2.5 billion.

The waterfront venue opened it’s gates as the Blockbuster Sony Music Entertainment Centre in 1995, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.  It would later go on as the Tweeter Center, when the naming rights were purchased in 2001.  In 2007, Susquehanna Bank purchased the naming rights after Tweeter filed for bankruptcy.
