The folks over at WalletHub have released a list of the most charitable states for 2022, as well as 2021’s neediest cities. For the report, WalletHub looked at more than 180 cities across the United States using factors such as poverty rates, food-insecurity rates and uninsured rates.
“We evaluated those dimensions using 28 relevant metrics, which are listed below with their corresponding weights,” WalletHub states. “Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the highest level of economic disadvantage.”
So, where did Delaware rank? Dover came in at number 32 and Wilmington at number 44. Also in the top 50, Baltimore at number 8 and Philadelphia at number 17.
