The Philadelphia Union is headed into the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The club punched their ticket to the next stage of competitive play via a 3-0 win against the Chicago Fire FC in the Windy City on Saturday, Nov. 1.

With this win, the Union moves to the Eastern Conference Semifinals and will play the remainder of the team's 2025 postseason at home at Subaru Park. This accomplishment follows the club's Supporters' Shield recognition as the team with the most points during the regular season. The Boys in Blue will host either Charlotte FC or New York City FC during the weekend of Nov. 22. Tickets for the match at Subaru Park are on sale now.

Tai Baribo, the Union's 27-year-old Israeli striker, secured the first two goals of his Audi MLS Cup Playoff career with quick finishes in the eighth and 16th minutes to break the match opener. Fellow forward Bruno Damiani added a third to complete the dominant opening half with a 35th-minute goal. Philadelphia earned the clean sheet with Andre Blake getting a penalty kick save in the 32nd minute.

According to the Union's news release, head coach Bradley Carnell unveiled a starting XI for the team's second match of the Best of Three first-round series against the Chicago Fire with 19-year-old Frankie Westfield. Nathan Harriel, Kai Wagner, Jakob Glesnes, and Olwethu Makhanya made up the Union's backline.

The midfield saw Jovan Lukic, Danley Jean Jacques, Milan Iloski, and Westfield starting. Baribo and Bruno Damiani were paired up top.
