Several autumn events are sweeping Cape May and nearby towns from today, Oct. 31, through Nov. 9. Events will feature farm attractions, parades, cleanups, trunk-or-treats, winery festivals, a jazz festival, running races, crafts shows, and more fall festivities.
Friday, Oct. 31
- Avalon and Stone Harbor invite residents to Seven Mile Island Trick-or-Treat today at 5 p.m. A map detailing trick-or-treating participants is available at the recreation building.
- Sea Isle City hosts a Trunk or Treat today, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the library parking lot, with car decorating, candy, prizes, and more fun.
Saturday, Nov. 1
- A 5 Mile Beach Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will run along Wildwood Crest and nearby beaches on Saturday, Nov. 1, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
- A Fall Crafts and Collectibles fair will take place at the Cape May Convention Hall on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., spotlighting handmade crafts and collectibles.
- Behr Brewing in Cape May will host a Fall Into Fun Festival on Saturday, Nov. 1, from noon to 6 p.m. The event will feature live music, vendors, food trucks, and a charity fundraiser, with $1 from every pint donated to local causes.
- A Kurt-like King Returns to Camelot musical history show will occur on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. at Avalon Free Public Library, headlined by an Elvis impersonator.
Saturday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 2
- Willow Creek Winery will host its Fall Fest on Saturday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will feature an open-air artisan market, food and drink specials, live music, and family-friendly activities.
Be sure to also mark your calendar for Nov. 7-9 for the 25th Exit Zero Jazz Festival. The event, held at multiple venues in Cape May, will be headlined by Stanley Clarke and Cassandra Wilson.
