The 2025 Philadelphia Heart Walk, organized by the American Heart Association (AHA), will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Citizens Bank Park, bringing together the Philadelphia community to support heart health initiatives.

This year's Heart Walk emphasizes community involvement and corporate participation. Many Philadelphia-area businesses are forming teams to promote wellness and social responsibility. The event aims to raise funds that directly benefit local programs such as CPR training, equitable access to healthy foods, and advanced heart treatments, all crucial for improving community health.

Participants can join as individuals or teams without any registration fee. All registrants are encouraged to wear themed apparel and carry signs to honor loved ones who have died from heart-related diseases.

During the Heart Walk, participants will enjoy activities like music, survivor celebrations, and the iconic Survivor Mile, where survivors walk proudly in red or white caps, symbolizing resilience and hope.

By supporting research, advocacy, and community programs, the Heart Walk aims to raise awareness about the leading causes of heart disease, especially in the Greater Philadelphia region.

This year's Philadelphia Heart Walk is part of the AHA's broader goal of creating a Nation of Lifesavers by teaching life-saving skills like Hands-Only CPR and increasing awareness of warning signs for heart attack and stroke. The Heart Walk is aligned with the AHA's mission to double cardiac arrest survival rates by 2030.
