Philadelphia, Philly Suburbs Plan Plenty of Events for St. Patrick’s Day
From parades and pub crawls to performances and parties, Philadelphia and its suburbs are packing plenty of Irish fun and festivities into the St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Here’s what to know before you celebrate:
Barleyjuice’s St. Patrick’s Day Party
Internationally recognized Celtic rock band Barleyjuice from Philadelphia invite guests to engage with the music from these celebrated performers. The party will take place on Friday, March 13, at 8 p.m. at the Sellersville Theater, 24 W. Temple Ave. in Sellersville.
Celebrate the Green at Peddler’s Village
Peddler’s Village in Lahaska presents “Celebrate the Green,” a mid-March opportunity to enjoy special foods, participate in a kid-friendly scavenger hunt, enjoy a pub crawl, and more. Highlights include:
- Find the Pots O’Gold: Saturday and Sunday, March 15 and 16, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Village Pub Crawl: Saturday, March 15, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- A Taste of Ireland Brunch: Sunday, March 16
- Shake Your Shamrock Fun Run: Sunday, March 16, 9:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m.
St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
Philadelphia’s St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl invites guests to visit and sample some of the most popular pubs in Center City and Fishtown. The event will take place on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15. General admission tickets are only $22 per participant. Drink deals and more await participants, so bring out your best green outfit and get ready for the fun.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Philadelphia’s St. Patrick’s Day parade will be held Sunday, March 16, beginning at 11 a.m. The parade kicks off at 16th and John F. Kennedy Boulevard and ends in front of the Art Museum at Eakins Oval.
Upper Bucks Celtic Festival
The Upper Bucks Celtic Festival will give plenty of Irish eyes something to smile about. Irish dancers, food, music, and lots of hoolie happiness will abound on Saturday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Borough of Perkasie.
