According to a Philly Voice report, it is the only Philadelphia restaurant to earn a spot on the list.
The DoorDash list recognizes 58 small-to-medium-sized restaurants that have received at least 50 customer reviews containing the word "love" and have attained DoorDash's "Most Loved" designation in consecutive months over the last six months. This designation is bestowed upon restaurants that earn an overall rating of at least 4.5 or higher.
Batter & Crumbs, founded by John Schultz and Paul Carmine in 2014, began as a wholesale operation. In 2019, it evolved into a full-service retail cafe operation. The cafe offers a diverse menu that features hot and cold brewed coffee, plus drinks from its espresso bar. Several partners, including Chef Lenka, Craveworthy Creations, and Rowhouse Grocery, provide breakfast and lunch sandwiches. High Fidelity Bakery gives the cafe its high-quality gluten-free items.
Some of the cafe's most popular items among customers on DoorDash include the "Spinach Jawn" savory pie, cupcakes, pastries, and coffee cake.
