Gift Of Lights At Dover Motor Speedway Returns For The 2024 Holiday Season
How exciting is this news! Not only do we have 24/7 Christmas Music playing on WJBR, we also have all of the holiday events and decorations too! Yay! We LOVE this time of the year!!! We are Delaware’s Christmas Station after all. 🎅
The holiday season will be merry and bright at Dover Motor Speedway as the “Gift of Lights at Dover Motor Speedway” drive-thru returns to the Monster Mile.
According to their website, the Gift of Lights event will run every evening from Thursday, November 28th through Sunday, January 5th. Guests will see more than 60 scenes and 3 million lights! Whoa! All set up along a 1.5 mile path winding through the Woodlands of Dover Motor Speedway.
“We‘re very pleased to be able to offer this drive-thru holiday light display to all families in the region,” said Mike Tatoian, Dover Motor Speedway‘s president and general manager. “Dover Motor Speedway has been the location for magical memories for more than 50 years and the ‘Gift of Lights‘ show brings a whole new chapter to that history. We look forward to seeing everyone take part in this event during the holiday season.”
The average drive-thru time will take approximately 45 minutes. Obviously, this is an average time, since crowds cannot be predicted.
Gift Of Lights At Dover Motor Speedway
The tentative schedule for the in-car experience is as follows:
November 28th, 2024 through January 5th, 2025
Friday – Saturday: 5pm – 10pm
Sunday – Thursday: 5pm – 9pm
Holiday Hours
Dec 19th-29th: 5pm – 10pm
Cars are $35, one carload – one price. Buses, limos and RV’s are $60. Tickets are available now and can be purchased online or at the gate.
