Usher recently opened up about why all his tweets were deleted after rumors started linking him to Diddy’s sex trafficking and racketeering case. Over the weekend, fans noticed that Usher’s posts on X (formerly Twitter) were wiped, sparking wild speculation that it had something to do with Diddy’s recent arrest.

As the rumors spread, Usher jumped back on social media to set things straight. “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! [laughing face] See you tonight at Intuit Dome,” he tweeted on Sunday (September 22), plugging his Past Present Future Tour show in Inglewood, California.

Usher and Diddy go way back over 30 years. Starting when Diddy took the young R&B singer under his wing in the ‘90s. In a 2016 interview, Usher talked about his “pretty wild” time living and working with Diddy, mentioning he saw some “curious things” during what was known as “Flavor Camp.”

“I moved to New York City and I lived with Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs for a year… in the ‘90s. Do you understand what that’s like?!” Usher shared.

“I went there to see the lifestyle. And I saw it. But I don’t know if I could indulge and understand what I was even looking at. It was pretty wild. It was crazy. There were very curious things taking place and I didn’t necessarily understand it.”

When asked if he would ever send his own kid to a Puffy camp, Usher didn’t hesitate to say “Hell no.”

Usher is a father to four kids: Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, Naviyd Ely, Sovereign Bo, and Sire Castrello. Cinco was born in 2007 with his ex-wife Tameka Foster, followed by Naviyd in 2008. In 2020, Usher and his partner Goicoechea welcomed their first daughter, Sovereign Bo, born on September 2. A year later, they had their second child, a son named Sire.

Earlier this year, Usher’s name got dragged into the civil case against Diddy’s alleged sex crimes when producer Lil Rod mentioned him in his sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lil Rod’s case was filed on February 26 in New York federal court, seeking $30 million in damages.

The complaint claims that Diddy “informed him that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with” an unnamed rapper, an unnamed R&B singer, and Bad Boy producer Stevie J.

According to Akademiks, the lawsuit claims that Diddy had sexual encounters with a "Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj" and an R&B singer "who performed at the Super Bowl and had a successful Vegas residency." While going through the 70+ page lawsuit against Diddy, Akademiks found the allegation stating that “Mr. Combs informed Mr. Jones (Lil Rod) that he engaged in sexual intercourse with rapper (REDACTED), R&B Singer (REDACTED), and Stevie J.”
