No Campfire Necessary: Cup Noodles New S’Mores Flavor
When I think of sweet treats, candy jars, chocolate, ice cream, and pastries instantly fill my mind. But now Cup Noodle is elbowing its way into the world of sweet treats. Nissin Foods USA reimagined everybody’s favorite fireside dessert with the launch of its limited-edition Cup Noodles Campfire S’mores flavor.
“Since its invention nearly 100 years ago, the beloved s’more has been adapted into a wide range of food flavors, recipes, and now ramen,” said Priscila Stanton, Senior Vice President, of Marketing, Nissin Foods USA.
“As enthusiasts seek new ways to get their s’mores fix beyond the great outdoors, we couldn’t resist joining the campfire fun by transforming the classic flavor into a bold, unexpected experience that will capture the hearts and palates of consumers nationwide.”

The limited-edition offering combines microwavable noodles with a sauce-based flavor blend of chocolate, marshmallow, graham crackers, and additional mini marshmallows to sprinkle on top.
“S’mores and summertime go hand-in-hand, invoking nostalgic memories of time spent around a campfire,” the company said.
They added, “With no campfire necessary, consumers can satisfy that need for more s’mores anytime with Cup Noodles Campfire S’mores by simply adding water, microwaving for three minutes, and letting it stand for two minutes before indulging in the saucy, s’mores ramen.”
The company suggests customizing your Cup Noodles by topping off ramen with pieces of graham cracker or additional mini marshmallows for that “quintessential gooey bite.”
Nissin will sell the $1.18 soup online and at Walmart stores nationally while supplies last.
The noodle maker is no stranger to non-traditional ramen pairings. “Cup Noodles Campfire S’mores” is the latest in a series of seasonal flavors.
Nissin Foods USA Senior VP of Marketing Priscila Stanton pointed to previously limited offerings as Cup Noodles’ efforts to expand beyond a “pantry staple.” That lineup of flavors includes Pumpkin Spice, Everything Bagel, and Breakfast (a mixture of the classic breakfast combination of maple syrup pancakes, sausage, and eggs).
The company took to Instagram to share the news of its latest flavor with the caption, “our campiest flavor yet.” One person responded by saying, “I just double checked if it was April 1st. I’ll try any flavor once I guess.”
Some people took their post as an opportunity to suggest other flavors. “There’s better sweet combo to do that’s better than this [crying emoji] Like a Thai inspired Spicy Peanut Sauce, Applewood BBQ Sauce, Salsa, Taco, etc.,” someone said.
Another person wrote, “Up next, Cookies and Cream Ramen.”
Nissin’s Cup Noodle isn’t the only brand trying out different flavors and pairings. Recently, Cheez-It and Hidden Valley Ranch teamed up for a crackers and “cheezy” ranch collab.
