Camping season is officially here, and now is the perfect time to start planning your camping adventures. One Delaware camping RV site has been named one of the best in America by the experts at Reader's Digest. It’s great to see this Delaware spot get national attention. What's extra cool is that the camp sites featured in this article are all tried and true by Reader's Digest, so they did their homework.

Delaware Camping RV Site Named Best by Reader's Digest

In Reader’s Digest‘s new story, they note, "Park yourself and your vehicle at these best RV parks in every state, perfect for travelers who like to see the world from the comfort of their home on wheels, and you'll surely be a happy camper."

Before we get to the Delaware camping RV park, let's look at some of the other best camping TV spots in America, according to the experts at Reader's Digest. In Tennessee, they highlight Lakeview RV Resort in Bluff City, which is located on the shores of Boone Lake and close to Bristol Motor Speedway. In the article, they boast that Lakeview RV Resort "offers sites with water, sewer and electric hookups, some with cable, for $40 to $44 per night," which is a steal. Also, some of the sites overlook the lake, making for an extra beautiful view. Another choice spot is Virginia's Shenandoah Valley Campground in Mount Jackson. If you love mountains, this is for you, as the "campground features views of the Shenandoah Valley, as well as the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains, and offers easy access to the Virginia Museum of the Civil War, Shenandoah National Park and Bryce Resort." Sites are available for $50 to $60 per night, according to Reader's Digest, and have an array of amenities.

So, which Delaware camping RV site was named one of the best in America by Reader's Digest? Lums Pond State Park in Bear. Reader's Digest boasts about the site's "200-acre freshwater pond, where visitors can fish, hike, horseback ride, disc golf, boat or try the Go Ape Treetop Adventure Course filled with obstacles, climbs and zip lines." They also mention that you'll find a picnic area on site, clean showers, a playground and a boat launch area. The prices are between $35 and $65, so that's very reasonable for what you get in return. It's really a camper's paradise. I think it's wonderful to see this Delaware spot get the national acclaim.
