Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $1 Million Was Sold In Delaware

Update:  The $1 million ticket was sold at Giant in Millville.

Don’t get rid of those Delaware lottery tickets just yet.  If you purchased a Powerball ticket in Delaware for the Monday, October 2, 2023 drawing, you might have a winner.

It wasn’t a perfect match, but a ticket with five matching numbers was sold in Delaware.  One ticket matched numbers 12, 26, 27, 43, 47 but missed the Powerball number and a shot at the more than $1 billion jackpot.  But, the winning ticket sold here in the First State is worth a whopping $1 million.

Another $1 million dollar ticket was sold in Michigan.  And get this, two $2 million Power Play tickets were sold in New York and South Carolina, according to NBC10 Philadelphia.

If I won the Powerball, you better believe I would know about it.  We’ve checked the Delaware Lottery website and there is no mention of the exact location of where this winning ticket was sold.

There is another chance tomorrow night.  The Powerball top prize soars to $1.2 billion, with a cash value of over $500 million.
