Wilmington Restaurant Included On List Of Most Romantic Places In The Country
FoodAndWine.com recently came out with a list of most romantic places in the country to dine. Whether it’s date night, valentines, a special occasion or just a tuesday, there was one Wilmington Restaurant included on that list.
Sometimes there’s nothing better than a warm atmosphere, romantic lighting, a good meal and your beau.
Delaware is full of so many beautiful places to dine with your love but there is only one spot that was listed by FoodAndWine.com as one of the country’s most romantic restaurants.
If you have lived or dined in Wilmington, you may be familiar with Krazy Kat’s Montchanin.
FoodAndWine.com gave accolades saying; “Enjoy eating in what was once an old blacksmith’s shop — with hooks still on Krazy Kat’s Restaurant’s walls — then stroll through the restaurant’s grounds and gardens.”
Krazy Kat’s has been recognized by locals and passer throughs alike. Many folks have stopped by on their way to the beaches. Others keep it on their list of favorite places to go with their hunnie.
Most of their online reviews note the romantic atmosphere, wonderful food and friendly staff. Sounds like the perfect place to go for almost occasion with your significant other.
The next time you’re celebrating or if you just need a date night, consider booking at Krazy Kats!

11 Delaware Restaurants all across the state, from Wilmington to Rehoboth Beach, earn Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards
Wow! What an incredible honor and recognition for these restaurants all across the state.
Wine Spectator, the world’s leading authority on wine, has released the winners of the 2023 Restaurant Awards. The restaurant awards honor the world’s best restaurants for wine. This year’s awards program recognizes 3,505 dining destinations from all 50 states in the U.S. and more than 70 countries internationally.
“In a time of technological innovation, restaurants offer the human experience diners are hungry for—listening to their customers and offering personalized experience,” said Marvin R. Shanken, Editor and Publisher, Wine Spectator.
The Wine Spectator Awards were initiated in 1981 and are the only program that focuses on restaurant wine service, exclusively. There are three designations of awards each year. The categories are Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award. You can read more here about this year’s complete list of award winning restaurants. You’ll also learn about the wine prices, cuisine prices, wine strengths and types of cuisine.
These are the 11 Delaware Restaurants that earned Wine Spectator Awards in 2023.
Congratulations to all of these restaurants honored in the First State.
