The beaches aren’t for everyone, though they’re the most popular destination in the First State year round. If you’re one of those people who can go without your toes in the sand, how about a road trip through Dover?

In addition, Country Living specifically suggests that kids will entertained by the aircraft and tour exhibitions, with a chance to test their piloting skills at The Air Mobility Command Museum. And with the close proximity to Philadelphia and Baltimore, it makes a perfect pit stop.
A few other locations not far from us made the list as well.
