How cool is this?   A small Delaware soft serve ice cream shop in New Castle has been recognized as one of the best soft serve shops in America.  Yes, you read that right, in America!

We shared our list of the These 12 Ice Cream Shops In Delaware Are Where The Locals Go For A Scoop.  Luckily our list, based on WJBR listeners and locals responses, does in fact include this New Castle location.

The folks over at Cheapism went on a search for the best soft serve ice cream spots across the country..  Cheapism says to make the list they went on a search for rave reviews and rankings from customers and in-the-know food writers across the US.

So, what Delaware soft serve location is getting this National recognition?  If you haven't guessed it by now, it's Dairy Palace in New Castle.

Here's what they had to say about Dairy Palace.

"You're coming to Dairy Palace for the sundaes. Sure, you could order a simple cone, milkshake, float, or candied freeze — they're all great here, too — but it's impossible to pass up all the sundae options. Try a blueberry pancake, pineapple upside-down cake or a bananas foster."

To see what other soft serve shops across the country also made the list, you can read more about them here.
