3 Philadelphia Suburbs In Top 5 Best Places To Raise A Family
Three Philadelphia suburbs have made the 2023 list of the best places to raise a family. How cool is that?
Sure, being in Delaware, we know this area is awesome. It’s nice to see so many locations nearby being recognized at a national level.
The folks over at Niche recently released their list for 2023. To put the list together, they considered public schools, the ratings of the schools, population, reviews from residents living in each of the towns, and what things there are to do for families.
So, what are these three Philadelphia suburbs making the top 5?
Coming in at number one on the list is Devon, not too far from Wilmington, in Chester County. With a small population of less than 2,000 people, it’s a rural community with plenty of restaurants and parks to enjoy and the schools are highly rated with a Niche score of A+.
Number 2 on the list is Chesterbrook, also in Chester County, with a population of 5,457. It’s a safe location and the public schools here are also highly rated with an A+ score.
And finally, coming in at #4 in the top 5 is Penn Wynne in Montgomery County. The population here is just over 6,000, where residents enjoy a urban suburban feel. Again, very highly rated for things to do, safety and an A+ rating on the public schools.
The two other locations making the top 5 best places to raise a family are Kensington and Syosset, both suburbs of New York City.
Not too far down the list are Ardmore at number 8 and Berwyn at 12.
