The Memory Of Mister Rogers Lives On Through Philadelphia Educators
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Especially when an icon from our childhood is recognized in such a great way. Thanks to his ambassadors, Mister Rogers and his memory will live on through a group of Philadelphia educators.
Gregg Behr and Ryan Rydzevski are the authors of When You Wonder, You’re Learning; a book that encapsulates the teachings of Mister Rogers.
Behr and Rydzewski wrote the book to show families and teachers what can be learned from Mister Rogers today.
The two will be in Philadelphia for an educator’s conference through Tuesday June 28th.

The City Of Brotherly Love
Mister Rogers had a special connection with Philadelphia. He visited the Mint, the Nabisco factory and several other staples. He visited factories because he knew that learning can happen anywhere.
This was the basis of his messaging. Gregg and Ryan hope to keep this message alive through their teachings as well.
Mister Rogers believed that summer doesn’t have to mean learning loss. In fact, he provided creative ideas for positive family memories while preventing the “summer slide”.
