How Would Delaware Fare If Aliens Invaded?

This is a valid question since most think we are not alone in the universe.

So how would the first state do if the extraterrestrial made a visit?

Not too well…

NJCasino.com ranked Delaware as the 35th most prepared state in case aliens made a stop on earth.

The chances of staying alive are determined by factors including how much each state spends on defense, its population density, and cover from incoming attacks in caves and woodland. The number of UFO sightings per state were also included in the study, after a Pentagon chief recently admitted hundreds of flying saucers have already been spotted ‘all over the world.’ (Daily Mail)

The Top 10 States Where You Are Most Likely To Survive An Alien Invasion are as follows:

  2. Georgia
  3. Massachusetts
  4. New York
  5. Louisiana
  6. Illinois
  7. Maryland
  8. Missouri
  9. Alabama
  10. Wisconsin

From looking over the data the top states seem to be concentrated on the East Coast.

I think this is because of food production and just the sheer amount of people who could lend you aid during a potential invasion.

The West Coast does typically have flatter areas like deserts so potential hiding places are hard to come by!

Honestly I think I could survive an alien invasion. I can tell them the best places to eat and I know where all the clean bathrooms are in case they are taking a road trip to see some sights.

We also don’t see many UFO’s in Delaware!

Over the last 5 years however Delaware saw a 24% increase in UFO sightings compared to all time.

Have you seen one?! Chances are you haven’t because Delaware ranks near the bottom of UFO sighting rankings.

Maybe its because we are so close to an air base, but overall Delaware ranks 48th of out the 50 states in total reported UFO sighting of all time.

Naturally, people were asked which fictional alien they would love to be friends with? Fan favorites include E.T., Men in Black, Independence Day, Alien, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

More than 1 in 10 Americans think movie portrayals of aliens and UFOs are accurate. I am not sure I agree there, but I wouldn’t mind sitting at a bar with one!
