Who doesn’t love donuts? I’m always looking for the next best donut and I was excited to find 2 Pennsylvania Donut Shops Made Yelp’s Top 100 List.
When I lived in California, Voodoo Donuts was all the rage. They were on TV and everyone went nuts. The shop was never the same again. Every time I went in there it was always busy.
Just last week, we celebrated National Donut Day. Thankfully, our boss (EJ) brought in donuts for everyone so we could celebrate.
We have no shortage of amazing bakeries in our area. Here in Delaware you can visit Serpe and Sons, a longstanding family-run bakery in Elsmere.
Growing up in New Jersey we would always take trips to Aversa’s Italian Bakery. I had a friend who worked there in high school. I can still smell the memory of walking in to visit.
Yelp released their list of the Top 100 Best Donut Shops In The US. Unfortunately, no Delaware locations made the list. This comes as a bit of a surprise because I think there are plenty to choose from.
However, it seems that the way they curate this list is by the most reviewed spots in the country. If you’re not getting the reviews, you’re not getting noticed by them.
While I am still on the hunt for my favorite donut in Delaware, these 2 Pennsylvania Donut Shops Made Yelp’s Top 100 List.
Beiler’s Bakery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Yum Yum Bake Shops in Colmar, Pennsylvania are both in the top 40 out of 100.
Looks like we need to take a trip and try them out!
