You deserve a vacation! You also deserve a vacation where you don’t drain your bank account.

Luckily Avelo Airlines is offering cheap flight from Delaware.

The VERY popular Wilmington Airport will be your starting point for your journey across the country!

“Avelo’s summer promotion comes on the heels of strong momentum in its first 120 days of operating at ILG. The airline said today it flew more than 50,000 Customers on more than 400 flights in its first 120 days since taking flight at ILG on February 1, 2023” according to WITN22.

So where can you go for $20? A bunch of places!

The $19 fares will let you travel from Wilmington Airport to:

• Charleston, SC (CHS)

• Daytona Beach, FL (DAB)

• Greenville / Spartanburg, SC (GSP)

• Myrtle Beach, SC (MYR)

• Nashville, TN (BNA)

• Raleigh / Durham, NC (RDU)

• Savannah, GA / Hilton Head, SC (SAV)

• Wilmington, NC (ILM)

There are a few rules with the cheap flights. All flights completed by July 31, 2023, and must be booked by June 8.

Back in April, Avelo added some great non-stop flight out of Wilmington Airport.

The budget airline added flights to Charleston, SC, Daytona Beach, FL , Greenville/Spartanburg, SC, Melbourne/Cocoa Beach, FL, Myrtle Beach, SC, Nashville, TN, Raleigh/Durham, NC, Savannah, GA/Hilton Head, SC, and Wilmington, NC.

Avelo is a little over a year old and is an economy airline with their missions statement saying: We help you fly for less so you can fly more. That means more opportunities for you to connect with family and friends while exploring new places and revisiting old favorites. But we don’t just save you money. We fly out of smaller, more convenient airports, so we also save you time and hassle.

Cheap flights and getaways right in our backyard! It looks like we’ll hopefully be getting more destinations soon!

2023s Best Airlines

2023s Best Airlines

WalletHub just released their list of ‘2023’s Best & Worst Airlines’

The website points out that airline prices have risen over 25% of the past 12 months and that outpaces inflation. So far this year the inflation rate has gone down from 6.4% in January to 5% in March.

With this in mind, it’s more imperative than ever we get great value out of the overpriced flights we take.

It was WalletHubs goal to take a look at often overlooked aspects of flying so travelers can make more informed decisions on choosing an airline.
While WalletHub considered price and value, thay also rated overall travel experience as it relates to safety, delays, baggage concerns, traveling with animals and more.

It seems like each day we read about unruly travelers on flights. And while that can be unpredictable and out of our control, there are a number of factors that we can control to give us the best possible flying experience.

Other metrics rated included denied boarding’s, leg room, entertainment options, Wi-Fi availability, complimentary refreshments, accidents and fleet age.

Locally at Philadelphia International Airport, the most popular airline with the most flights is American. That is followed by Frontier, Spirit, Delta and United.
