Delaware’s Favorite Netflix Watch Is A Reality Show
The United States of Netflix, as they call it, has dropped and has told us something pretty interesting: Delaware loves a reality show.
We all have our go to shows, our escape from real life shows, and our make us laugh shows.
Reality TV seems to fall under the escape from real life shows category.
We watch someone else’s life unfold while simultaneously disassociating from ours.
Delaware loves a VERY popular Netflix original reality show.
We love The Circle!
How does The Circle work?
“A number of players move into separate apartments within the same building. While playing, contestants are kept isolated from the outside world and each other, and are not allowed to meet or communicate with each other face-to-face. Instead, they communicate via text on a specially-designed social media application that — through photographs, biographies, and text chat — gives them the ability to portray themselves in any way they choose” according to Wikipedia.
Players can either be themselves, someone they know, or a completely made up person.
Players then rate each other on a numeric scale based on friendships. Ratings happen every week and the usually the lowest ranked player is dropped.
This happens until the finals where the players a rated one more time and someone wins a million dollars.
Its a lighthearted, goofy watch that really lets you escape from reality.
