New Grocery Store To Open In Middletown

Weis Markets will be making their way into Middletown, DE very soon.

According to Business Wire “Anticipated to open in 2025, Weis Markets will operate a 64,000-square-foot supermarket and fuel facility in the retail center. Weis Markets is a Mid-Atlantic food retailer operating 197 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia and Virginia. It currently operates three stores in Delaware.”

The store will be the anchor of the Bayberry Town Center. The town center is expected to take up 280,000 square feet.

The Bayberry Town Center will has 31,000 square feet of professional space. There will also be 145 townhomes and multiple green spaces for community events.

Breaking ground Fall 2023, Bayberry Town Center will provide much-needed goods and services to support Bayberry residents, as well as the surrounding, rapidly growing community. It is poised to be the largest grocery-anchored center in Middletown and elevate the area’s overall shopping and entertainment experience by delivering an intentional combination of grocery, upscale shopping, restaurants, services, banking and healthcare. The Weis Market will also have a gas station on site as well.

Weis will anchor the town center that is set to include diverse mix of retail, restaurants and services, offering convenience and variety to attract shoppers and drive tenant success.

“Although marketing, online content, and writing secured the top placement for work-from-anywhere career categories, there was strong growth in gaming, entertainment, and media during the first part of 2023” FlexJobs reports.

  • Chinese Translator

    A quick check of Indeed will show many Chinese Translator jobs. Seems to be that most of these positions are helping people translate over zoom or via phone call. The postings say no experience translating is necessary and they will train you…but you do need to be fluent in the language already.

  • Copywriter

    LinkedIn explains a copywriter as “a member of the creative team, the copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the account and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.”

     

  • Customer Success Manager

    This career has been all over Tik Tok and Twitter recently. I have noticed numerous people shifting their career to this. But, what does a Customer Success Manager do?

They’re focused on customer loyalty and building close long-term client relationships, and often stay with the same customers as long as they continue to work with your business.”

    Technical writers essentially write all those instructions we follow when buying a new product. They also write how-to’s, journal articles, and other documents.

  • Social Media Manager

    If you are always on Instagram and Facebook posting…you might as well try and monetize it.

    Google will show that the starting salary for a remote Social Media Manager in Delaware is $62k. But it seems like that salary could increase pretty quickly AND it can all be done remotely.
