The BVSPCA Just Helped Rescue 18 Chickens And Roosters
The Brandywine Valley SPCA is always doing their best to help all sorts of animals from all different areas.
Countless times in the past they have helped to re-home animals rescued from devastation. When there is a tornado or hurricane in other parts of the country, they step up and open their doors.
They fly or drive these animals to and from their devastation and give them a comfy space to post up until they find a home.
The BVSPCA does all of this on top of what they do for homeless animals right here in Delaware.
It’s organization like theirs that truly show how much they care for the community. It’s easy to see how dedicated they are to their work.
Just recently, they helped to rescue 18 roosters and chickens from an abusive situation.
The Animal Protective Services team stepped in to help as many of the birds had missing feathers due to poor living conditions or diet. One even had a broken wing that had been left untreated.
Fortunately, they were transferred to the Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA where they will be cared for.
The ranch has the proper equipment to take care of the roosters and chickens and help nurse them back to health.
Kudos to the BVSCPA for all their wonderful work in the rescue of the birds.
