You may love yours or may you regret it! But this is the most popular tattoo in Delaware….

Its not a cat, not a zodiac sign, not even a butterfly.

The most popular tattoo in Delaware is a dragon.

Yep the first state loves a dragon tattoo.

Using Google Trends, Zippia determined what tattoo each state gets more than any other state, using search proxy as a way to measure tattoo intent.

Zippia also released their most interesting tattoo findings:

  • States generally like a wide range of tattoos, but cats, zodiac signs, and marine mammals are particularly popular.
  • Butterfly tattoos are the most commonly searched on the web across the US, with an average 12,100.
  • Approximently 30% of Americans have tattoos.
  • The number of people with tattoos in the US has increased by 21% since 2012.

Pennsylvania’s most popular tattoo was a Bernie Tattoo?

Does this mean lots of PA residents googled Bernie Sanders tattoos? Or maybe they love Bernie Mac.

I googled Bernie Tattoo and the results are indeed an outline of Bernie Sanders.

New Jersey’s most popular tattoo SHOCKINGLY is a tattoo of New Jersey.

I guess this is to prove you are from Jersey or maybe to show people which part of Jersey you are from?

Maryland followed suit with New Jersey as their favorite tattoo was a tattoo of Baltimore.

I’m thinking this may have something to do with the Baltimore Ravens.

Comparatively, Delaware has a pretty normal most popular tattoo.

You can see the full list of the most popular tattoo’s across America here.

Warning: it may make it harder to decide what tat you want!

Spring is in the air and you know what that means. Festival and concert season is right around the corner.

With Philadelphia so close, we have a lot of major headliners that come through the area on a pretty regular basis.

Bruce Springsteen just rocked the Wells Fargo Center last week. Sam Smith will be there in August.

But what about who’s coming to Delaware?

We are lucky enough to have some pretty cool venues right here in our backyard. The Queen in Wilmington and the Opera House have both hosted some pretty major acts.

Concert goers from the tri-state have traveled to Wilmington for a night out.

But just under two hours away, down the coastline to Selbyville, we have Freeman Arts Pavillion.

Freeman Arts Pavillion just announced some amazing WJBR-tists… see what we did there?

You’ll have a few great headlining acts to pick and choose from, or you can just go see them all!

What’s better than a warm summer night, a cool ocean breeze and amazing music? Almost nothing.

About Freeman Arts Pavillion
