According to their website "Via Sophia is bringing the Italian Osteria experience to Bethany Beach, Delaware in April! With an emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and made-from-scratch dishes, our innovative menu will feature artisan pastas, local fish and poultry, and seasonal vegetables and herbs.
Via Sophia will be steps from the boardwalk and feature a laid back vibe.
The eatery prides themself on consistency, quality and attention to detail.
The new restaurant will feature 164 seats and feature live entertainment three nights a week.
The restaurant is part of a re-imagining of the Bethany Beach Marriott.
Via Sophia's D.C. menu has some interesting and unique eats.
Things like Cider Glazed Duck Breast, Red Wine Rigatoni, and Friarielli e Salsicce Pizza could be seen on the new Bethany Beach menu.
Via Sophia will replace 99 Sea Level.
The hotel re-imagination will also feature a indoor-outdoor pool.
"The redesign is intended to provide “a fun and whimsical ambiance,” with a varied color palette. The hotel, owned and operated by EOS Hospitality, will continue its partnership with Ellen Rice Studio to curate the art. EOS also operates the Hamilton Hotel that houses the original Via Sophia" Town Square Live reports.
Guestrooms throughout the Bethany Beach Marriott will also be feature in the renovations.
Guests can expect new side tables as well as new dining and workspace tables.
The new guestrooms will also feature updated bureaus, sleeper sofas, flooring, and bedding.
If you are looking for a unique space for meetings and conferences the hotel will also be updating event halls and meeting rooms.
