Dreams do come true. Or at least they will for this one Smyrna DE Teen who Will Appear On Wheel Of Fortune
Typically, one must be 18 or older to appear on the beloved game show. This week however, is their featured “Teen Week” on Wheel Of Fortune.
High School aged teenagers will be appearing to compete as their families root them on.
One luckily Delaware teen is looking forward to the appearance this week. You could say it is a dream come true.
From Normal Life To The Big Screen
Kaden Nye, a homeschooled eighth grader from Smyrna, will appear on Wednesday night’s episode.
Kaden has been watching the show since he was born and watches every night with his parents. For Halloween, Kaden wants to be Pat Sajak.
According to BayToBayNews.com, His strategy for the show is to be “calm as a cucumber.” He also told the outlet that he plans to take advantage of the used letter board, and to buy vowels.
Sounds like a good strategy to me! I used to watch every night with my grandmother and whenever I’m home for 7:30, you can bet it’s on my TV.
So many of us grow up watching the popular game show, who wouldn’t love to compete?
The show can be seen on 6 ABC WPVI-TV at 7:30 p.m.
Teen Week On Wheel
Kaden will be appearing during Wheel of Fortune’s “Teen Week.”
He will be competing against other teens to solve hangman-style puzzles and win once-in-a-lifetime vacations, new cars, and cash prizes.
Wheel of Fortune fans can submit applications here for a chance to be invited to a virtual audition. There, potential contestants can show off their puzzle-solving skills and potentially be selected to appear as a contestant on the show from the comfort of their own homes.
If selected to be on the show, everyone goes home with a minimum of $1,000.

Wilmington’s Own Eagles FOTY Heads To NFL Honors
The NFL celebrated another year of excellence around the league on Thursday night at the 12th annual NFL Honors.
NFL.com reports, Kelly Clarkson hosted. Clarkson is the first woman to lead the event in its history.
The show included the announcement of The Associated Press’ NFL awards and revealed the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2023.
Mount Pleasant Elementary School’s Principal, Matt Auerbach, attended at Eagles’ Fan Of The Year.
He and his wife walked the red carpet, met some celebrities and partied with 31 other people who hold the FOTY title. Matt shook hands with Damar Hamlin, Jerry Jones and a lot of other big names.
Before leaving for Arizona, Mount Pleasant Elementary Faculty, Staff and Students, sent Matt Auerbach off with a warm “Go Get ’em!”
The teachers and staff at my school surprised me with a VIP send off for the Super Bowl. Pretty sure I gave high fives to all 700+ kids! Go birds! Let’s GOOOOO!!!!
