University Of Delaware Grad On Shark Tank TONIGHT
Joelle Slye Flynn is a graduate from University of Delaware.
Tonight, she and her friend and business partner Sonia Hounsell will appear on ABC’s Shark Tank.
The pair will appear before the sharks to pitch their invention FunkkOFF!

Flynn thought up the idea for the product when she wanted something convenient to remove stains. She wanted something that would travel well. Nothing existed. So She invented, patented and trademarked it.
The product removes stains from wine, coffee, tea and keeps your smile white.
Spoiler Alert: FunkkOFF! actually hit the market in July 2021.
Flynn’s mother says she has been an inventor and entrepreneur since she was a child. According to Newark Post, immediately out of college Flynn became the youngest stockbroker ever at Bank of America.
She sold her own business, tried her hand at real estate and founded a nonprofit.
Part of the proceeds from FunkkOFF! go to support that nonprofit. GIRLS ON THE RUN, a nonprofit based in Orange County California, became near and dear to Joelle’s heart.
Joelle moved to Southern California and was eager to have her daughters join in the local chapter of Girls on the Run in Orange County. She realized there was not a Girls on the Run program established so Joelle helped to form the Orange County 501(c)3 chapter and was also their first Executive Director.
FunkkOFF! also supports SMILES FOR EVERYONE FOUNDATION. The foundation’s mission is to deliver Smiles to Everyone by providing free dental care to those in need, both at home in the U.S. and around the world.
