NJ Restaurant Bans Kids Internet Goes Crazy
A restaurant in New Jersey released a statement that sent the internet into a frenzy.
Nettie’s House of Spaghetti in Tinton Falls, NJ is taking a stand. Their staff is apparently tired of dodging unsupervised children throughout the restaurant.
They released the following statement this week:
“We love kids. We really, truly, do. But lately, it’s been extremely challenging to accommodate children at Nettie’s. Between noise levels, lack of space for high chairs, cleaning up crazy messes, and the liability of kids running around the restaurant, we have decided that it’s time to take control of the situation.”
The ban only applies to children under the age of 10.
The statement on their Facebook page continued to explain the reasoning behind the decision.

The post currently has 10,000 shares and 36,000 reactions. The restaurant page admin has limited the comment section but it’s definitely worth a browse.

“Fantastic idea… having worked in the industry since I was 14, i’ve never seen anything like I have in the recent past. Kids are out of control and most parents are oblivious.
The disregard for manners and common decency is unreal. I worked in FH and was disgusted by the behavior.

“I thought this was an Onion when i first saw it! I have grown kids, they were really well behaved, and nobody likes misbehaved kids(barbarism begins at the home!), especially while dining.
But this might be harsh…”

The folks at the websites “Yelp” and “Eat This Not That” recently learned and shared where you can find the best breakfast in every state in the United States!
Most days it’s a daily rush to get our kids and ourselves ready for work and school. We may just settle for a breakfast or protein bar, or a bowl of cereal or even worse, no breakfast at all!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It seems to be something we always rush through. It’s the meal that is the base of getting our day started. But it turns out most of us skip the meal that should energize us for the start of the day.
Then there are those special occasions where we treat ourselves to a breakfast at a local diner or restaurant. A favorite weekend tradition of many is breakfast or brunch out on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
‘Eat This Not That” worked with Yelp by analyzing their Breakfast + Brunch category.
Yelp said:
“This is an all-time list of the best breakfast places in the United States according to Yelp. All the businesses on this list are in the Breakfast + Brunch category. ‘Best’ is measured using an algorithm that looks at the number of reviews and star rating for a business.”
“Eat This Not That” and “Yelp” looked over the top few breakfasts in every state and selected the BEST in each state by exceptional reviews.
