Jim Scott is going to the Superbowl this year with his daughter. No he did not receive them as a birthday gift. They weren’t scored in a lottery or raffle. The Philadelphia Eagles are sending him to the big game, ON THEM!
Scott is a 91 year old resident of Lafayette Hill in Montgomery County. He recently gained some attention online when his family story was exposed.
Scott talked about being abandoned on a doorstep as an infant. At just 12 days old he was left alone. Recently, he discovered that he has 14 siblings!

Going to the Superbowl is a dream for a lot of people. For Jim, that dream has come true.
In telling his childhood story, he says he didn’t know he was adopted until he was 20 years old. He recalls his childhood as a happy one. After completing an ancestry search, he found a few of his siblings. His daughter helped him through the process.
His daughter is enthusiastic along with him, for the new family members and for this amazing opportunity. They both feel lucky to be in this position. Having connected with family they didn’t even know they had, and getting to attend the big game.
It’s all just a whirlwind of excitement for them. Scott wrote a story called “A Christmas Wish” that was picked up by a Pittsburgh newspaper. As a resule, he was able to see the Eagles play the Giants earlier this season. This came after his story circulated and the right people caught wind of it.
Now, they’re sending him to Arizona to make his ultimate dream come true. Now he gets to watch the birds play in the Superbowl.
