Wawa Is Getting New Coffee Machines

Our morning routines will look a little different as Wawa is getting new coffee machines.

This morning I went to grab my normal 24oz. cup of fresh Wawa coffee and noticed a sign.

A sign that coffee is changing!

Upon further research I couldn't find anything "official" from Wawa but did do some digging on what kind of coffee machine Wawas are installing.

The new machines are similar to the style Sheetz and Royal Farms have. The machine basically fresh grinds the coffee bean and then brews the coffee.

The machines don't brew the normal big batches we are used to, it seems like these new machines will brew custom cups for each customer.

I believe the technology will fall under the modular way of brewing coffee.

After jumping around the internet for a bit I found what looks like something similar to the new machines Wawa is introducing.

Its from a brand called Concordia. The Super Automatic Coffee Machine is an example of that modular coffee style.

According to Concordia's website "This super automatic coffee machine is a bean-to-cup brewer was designed to deliver fresh, superb tasting black coffee at an industrial leading speed of under 30-seconds. This combination of quality and speed is a the result of several brewing innovations that yield coffee meeting the Specialty Coffee Associations ‘Gold Cup’ standard. This means customers enjoy coffee shop quality coffee, on-demand, from a unit that’s easy to use."

I know I want to get and get out of Wawa as quickly as possible in the morning. I love the store but at 4am I'm ready for some fresh coffee and to git the road ASAP.

I'm not sure how the new machine will affect your morning routine, you may need to allow a few extra minutes when these things roll out.

Earlier this week the restaurant-reservation service company Open Table released "The 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2023".

If you are looking for the perfect Valentine' Day dining experience WJBR has a list of the most awesomely romantic restaurants close-by to the Delaware Valley.

Open Table created the list by analyzing over 13 million diner reviews and represents restaurants from across all of America! There are restaurants from 27 states with California toping the list.

1906 at Longwood Gardens-Kennett Square PA. I can't imagine a better date than touring Longwood Gardens AND having a romantic dinner there!

Diners rave about the servers, atmosphere and food....and the beauty of the restaurant at Devon Seafood + Steak-Hershey PA!

Tisha's Cape May is about as close to 5 stars as any restaurant can get, coming in at a 4.8 on recent ratings!  One reviewer said "from app to entrée, all was cooked to perfection!  Take a walk around Victorian Cape May then stop off for brunch or dinner!  Sounds like a great date to me!

The Washington Inn has been proudly standing on the Cape since 1840.  Their wine bar is highly acclaimed!  Romantic with easy-going elegance!  Go for the food, the service, the ambiance and all you desire for the perfect date!
