Lansdale Man Wins On The Price Is Right
Ben Hartranft lived out a dream many of us have. To hear the announcement "Come On Dowwwwn". That's right, Hartranft was a participant on the beloved game show, The Price Is Right.
Hartranft spoke to CBS Philly's Jim Donovan and said "When George called my name, I got so excited. I literally jumped out of my chair. It felt like Christmas morning."
In the end, Hartranft ended up winning $16,000. The episode aired earlier this week and he had to keep it a secret from everyone.
Could you imagine holding that kind of information?
Hartranft attended North Penn High School and now lives in Lansdale.
He told CBS Philly that the show was taped back in October. Tell this man all your secrets! He was able to keep this news to himself for 4 months!
Hartranft is a local business owner. Ben Energy One Presentation allows him to speak in schools and offices about Autism awareness. He shares how inclusion and kindness shaped his life with Autism.
Sandy, Ben's mom, wrote a book about her experience as a mother of a child with autism. She mentions how other parent's stories helped her so she decided to do the same for others.
Swinging From The Chandelier is available for purchase on Ben's website.
Ben has several resources listed on his site as well to help anyone navigating life with autism.
So what's next for Ben?
He has decided to use his winnings to buy himself a new car.

29 Movies That Turn 40 in 2023
When looking at the movies that turn 40 in 2023, one thing is very clear: 1983 kind of ruled!
In 1983, a holiday classic was born with A Christmas Story. Meanwhile, a star was born in Tom Cruise thanks to Risky Business. Women started cutting up their sweatshirts thanks to Flashdance, and a new sex symbol was born thanks to that gold bikini in Return of the Jedi. We also said hello to a little friend (Scarface), gave our daughter the shot (Terms of Endearment) and were gagged with a spoon (Valley Girl.)
Here are 29 movies that turn 40 in 2023. Even the biggest cynic would agree that 1983 at the movies was totally tubular.
