The playoffs are in full swing as an Eagles themed bar comes to Philly.
The Eagles begin their run to the Super Bowl this weekend. Well…their hopeful run.
You can enjoy the Birds versus the Giants at a new pop-up bar in Center City.
Tinsel, a yearly Christmas themed pop-up, has transformed itself into Tinsel Takes Flight.
The bar is featuring Eagles-themed memorabilia, original art installations, murals and new TVs for fans to watch the Birds play.
Tinsel Takes Flight is only open for a limited time.
Wednesday, Jan. 18, through Sunday, Feb. 12
Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Saturday to Sunday, 12 p.m. to 2 a.m.
at 116 S. 12th St., Philadelphia, PA 19107
According to
Philly Voice “Fans can enjoy Eagles-themed cocktails, aptly named “Hurts So Good,” “Swole Batman,” “Philly Especial” and “Philly, Philly.” Seasonal draft and canned beers, including Free Will Brewing’s “Dreams and Nightmares,” will also be available. Drinks will be served in keepsake glassware.”
Tinsel isn’t the only place getting into the playoff spirit! Evil Genius will be releasing some special beers for the Eagles playoff run.
Evil Genius is also bringing back a fan favorite beer just in time for a Birds playoff run. ‘Fly Like An Eagle’ is notorious amongst Eagles fans.
‘Fly Like An Eagle’ is a water, ice-inspired milkshake style IPA in two flavors, mango and blue raspberry.
Over 15 gallons of blue raspberry slushie syrup and 100 pounds of mango were used during brewing this drink.
It clocks in at 6.2% ABV and does contain lactose. So pop in those lactaid pills my friends.
According to MSN “”Playoffs!?!” is a brand-new beer for the Philadelphia brewers. This flavorful, full-bodied IPA is described as a “creamsicle without the brain freeze” and features all-natural orange and vanilla flavors as well as juicy Azaaca and Motueka hops and an ABV of 7& on the dot.”
