That is almost double the amount of past prices.

Delaware drivers are currently paying an average of $3.27 per gallon, down from a high over $5 last summer.
The good news, is that if you are baking, you have options. Eggs can be easily replaced in recipes for desserts.
According to The Kitchn.Com, you can use a number of things in place of eggs. Substitutions include flax seed, applesause, mashed bananas and more. Check the list on their site to see what else you can use in place of eggs.
The bad news, if you’re a breakfast lover, you will have to account for some extra spending. Even the alternative is just as expensive. Egg beaters and their plant-based alternates are going for the same cost at this time.
Surprisingly, it could be worse. In Nevada, eggs are going for as high as $7.39.
It seems, one of the best options would be to buy in bulk. A 3o count of eggs is going for $13.99 at the Wilmington ShopRite.
Another thought, maybe it’s time to get a Costco membership if you don’t already have one.
A carton of 2 dozen Kirkland eggs at Costco costs $8.07 at the moment. That is probably the best bang for your buck.
The only caveat, is making sure you actually go through that many eggs. Because with these prices, who would want to have to throw eggs away? Am I right?
