Wilmington Food Truck Collecting Donations
Wilmington Food Truck Collecting Donations
The winter time is even harder on folks who are in need. With temperatures dropping unpredictably, it can mean a dangerous situation for some.
You may know someone going through a tough time. You may not. All we know, is we can all find a way to help.
It’s as easy as cleaning out your closet.
Do you have a pair of gloves you no longer use? A scarf you got for Christmas that you don’t love?
Maybe you have a coat you’ve outgrown?
If so, you can help. Now through January 21st you can make a difference in someone’s life.
Our friends at Joey T’s food truck not only make great breakfast sandwiches. They try to do what they can to help their community.
They have a customer who is collecting items for families in need.
It all started when this person (who would like to remain anonymous) lost a family member to addiction.
Since, she has been gathering donations to bring to families in Kensington, PA.
To protect the privacy of this good samaritan, Joey T’s food truck is collecting donations on her behalf.

About Joey T
Joey is a former law enforcement officer who has a deep love for his community.
He most recently made donations to WJBR’s Turkeython to benefit the Ministry of Caring. He’s a great guy with an all around big heart and love of food.
Make sure to stop by the truck with your donations and grab one of his delicious breakfast sandwiches. May we suggest the cheesy potatoes?
