The Pennsylvania Farm Show Is This Week
The Pennsylvania Farm Show Is This Week at The Pennsylvania Farm Complex and Expo Center.
The expo center is located at 2300 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
The PA farm show is underway, and started on Janurary 7th. It runs through Saturday January 14th so you still have plenty of time to get in on the action.
Pennsylvania is proud to host the largest indoor agricultural exposition under one roof in the nation.
The event showcases the quality and breadth of Pennsylvania’s agriculture industry and the people who make it thrive.
The show offers visitors a tiny slice of the industry that employs nearly half a million people. Not to mention, contributes $185 billion to Pennsylvania’s economy every year.
This year’s theme, “Rooted in Progress,” honors our roots and vision for the future.
Agriculturalists were “Harvesting More” in 2022 following a virtual year in 2021 during the pandemic. Now they’re celebrating accomplishments in agriculture, while recognizing the agricultural drive and vision to innovate and inspire.
You donated your Christmas Trees to feed the goats, and now you can snuggle them!
For $5, Farm Show guests can get up close and personal with the Steinmetz Family Farm goats. The fee gets you entry into an enclosure with the goats. There, you can brush, pet, hold, and cuddle the animals for as long as you want. This is a newly added experience.
The remaining schedule is available at PA Farm Show Schedule
Make sure to check out Baby Goat Hope.
Hope The Goat
Baby goat Hope wasn’t breathing when she was born at Steinmetz Family Farm a couple of months ago. Justin Steinmetz performed “goat CPR” on her, reviving her, and a video of him helping the little goat exploded in popularity online.
Now Justin shares positive messages — and his goats — on social media frequently, and people love it. At the Pennsylvania Farm Show, people can meet Hope and the other goats of Steinmetz Family Farm in person for some goat snuggles.
Justin and his wife Lauren Steinmetz are goat farmers who run Steinmetz Family Farm in Berks County.
