Its that time of year! You can apply to get paid to drive a giant hot dog across America.

Have you ever wanted to drive the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile? Now is your chance.

Oscar Meyer is searching for "Hot Doggers" for the 2023 season.

There are a total of 12 Weinermobile driver positions available for 2023, according to Oscar Mayer. And the competition is fierce: In past years, less than 1% of applicants were selected.

The contract is 1 year with competitive pay, benefits, and team apparel.

Oscar Meyer says you'll be a mini-celebrity as you do media interviews for the Weinermobile. You will be in a public relations firm on wheels.

You must be outgoing according to an online job description. They need outgoing, creative, and friendly graduating college seniors who have an appetite for adventure.

Applicants should have a BA or BS in public relations, journalism, communications, or advertising when applying. Other degrees will not limit apllicants.

The Weinermobile was created in 1936 1936 when Carl Mayer entered his Uncle Oscar’s office with a new advertising idea: a 13-foot long hot dog car that would travel the streets of Chicago and let everyone know about Oscar Mayer hot dogs. It must have taken some explaining to describe his dream of the mobile frank. Luckily, Oscar was a man with vision and gave the project a green light. Since then, each Wienermobile has spread miles of smiles and fun wherever it goes. From dodging Duesenbergs in the ‘30s to hotdogging the highways in the 21st Century, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is truly a piece of Americana.

If you’re ready to crisscross the hot dog highways of America, you can easily apply online to be a Wienermobile driver. Good luck to all the future Hotdoggers!
