One Of The Best Old-School Italian Restaurants in America Is In Wilmington
Wow! How cool is this? As I’ve said before, it’s so awesome to see Delaware shine through on these national lists.
The folks over at Cheapism.com set out to find the best old-school Italian restaurants in America, looking for the best in each state. And just where did they decide was Delaware’s best? None other than Mrs. Robino’s Restaurant in Wilmington.
They’ve been around since the 1940’s serving up some delicious Italian dishes. Mrs. Robino’s has also been selected as a Best of Delaware recipient. And get this, they were also featured on Food Network’s ‘Diners Drive-In’s & Dives’ a few years back. Did anyone happen to catch a glimpse of Guy Fieri in his red convertible?
Mrs. Robino’s says traditional Italian cooking is really about simplicity at its core. It’s about having the freshest, liveliest ingredients, and bringing the flavor out of them through masterful technique. It’s what we’ve been doing for decades at Mrs. Robino’s Restaurant, and it’s our dedication to traditional recipes that seems to keep generations of customers coming back.
Sounds like a stop we all might need to make, if you’ve not been there already. And now I’m hungry.
