The baseball team's success doesn't come often so it raises the question...should Halloween be moved because of the Phillies?
Hear me out....move Halloween to Sunday October 30th to make watching the Phillies play in the World Series that much easier.
I love Halloween, don't get me wrong, but I also love winning championships.
When the Phillies won the World Series in 2008 it was magical. I remember running down the street pantsless after Brad Lidge made the final out. It's a core memory of mine.
I also remember almost every single Halloween costume I've ever worn. Some homemade some storebought, but all of them were memorable. More core memories.
That is why I am making the case to move celebrating Halloween up one day so the kids, and adults, can enjoy two different celebrations and create more amazing memories.
Sunday would be perfect! You could wake up, get the groceries in the house, go to church etc.
Then catch the Eagles playing the Steelers at 1 p.m. sneak in a nap and then throw on that costume and go out and get some free candy. It also alleviates the stress of trying to get the kids in costume right after work!
On Monday you can come home from work, cook a nice meal, then relax and watch the Phillies in Game 3 of the World Series! The game starts at 8:03 p.m.
Let's not rush through life but rather enjoy the little things as they come.
A little thing like some sort of sustained success from the Philadelphia Phillies!
More memories and less stress is my overall argument.
There are a select few who would rather the holiday be cancelled all together, I am arguing there is time for both.
Either way...Go Phillies! Ring the bell!

Rhys Hoskins Wife Did WHAT During The Phillies Game??
Here's a story from our friends in Philadelphia. A story that happened during the Philadelphia Phillies National League Championship game 5. Rhys Hoskins wife was apparently making friends in the stands. According to ESPN, "Rhys Hoskins hit a two-run homer in Game 5 of the NL Championship Series to spark Philadelphia's improbable run to the pennant and a shot at its first World Series championship since 2008. Harper, Hoskins & Crew are coming for a most improbable World Series championship."
ESPN reports "Starting Friday, the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies will clash for the Commissioner's Trophy. A meeting of one league's favorite and the other league's biggest underdog. Under MLB's new playoff format, the Phillies entered as the sixth and final seed in the National League but advanced all the way to the Fall Classic. The American League's No. 1 seed, the Astros, rolled over the rest of the Junior Circuit." Rolled was right. You see what they did to the Yankees?
So what did Rhys Hoskins Wife do?
The most epic thing a player’s wife perhaps has EVER done. This is amazing.
